Hoyt Satori 19" Recurve Bow

Brand: Hoyt Archery

0

The Satori is a machined aluminum ILF riser sold in 17, 19 and 21 inch lengths, with the 19 inch version the usual middle choice. Paired with short, medium or long limbs it builds a bow between roughly 58 and 64 inches, so one riser covers a stump shooting setup and a longer target rig. Grips are interchangeable, limb alignment and tiller adjust properly, and the limb pockets take any ILF limb, including Hoyt's own carbon target limbs.

This is the bow for someone who tinkers and wants repeatable tuning instead of glued wood. It also costs like it: riser and limbs are usually bought separately and the finished bow lands well past a thousand dollars, with most listings coming from dealers or used sellers on eBay. Aluminum adds mass, which steadies the shot but tires the arm on long hikes, and nothing is included in the box beyond the riser.

Pros

  • Machined ILF riser, precise tuning
  • Three riser lengths, three grip shapes
  • Accepts any ILF limb on the market
  • Holds resale value strongly
  • Aluminum mass steadies the aim

Cons

  • Riser and limbs sold separately
  • Finished bow costs over a thousand dollars
  • Heavier to carry than wood risers
  • No string or accessories included
