Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the website Prooffeed.com and the services provided through it (the "Platform", "Prooffeed", "we"). By accessing the Platform, creating an account or submitting content, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms together with the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines, which form an integral part of these Terms.

If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must refrain from using the Platform.

Prooffeed is an international review platform built on community-driven rankings. The editorial team creates and maintains rankings across 137 categories; the order of positions within each ranking is determined dynamically by the votes and reviews of registered users. The Platform operates in 16 language versions, each with its own set of rankings.

Prooffeed does not sell positions in rankings, does not offer paid placement and does not provide monetary rewards, affiliate payouts or compensation for views to its users.

Voting, publishing reviews and commenting require a registered account identified by an email address and password. You undertake to provide accurate registration data, to keep your credentials confidential and not to transfer your account to third parties. All actions performed under your account are attributed to you.

One person may hold one account. The Platform may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines or the integrity of the ranking system.

Each registered user holds one vote per ranking position. Votes may be cast in favor or against and may be changed or withdrawn at any time; rankings are recalculated immediately.

The Platform operates a reputation system: authors receive public titles upon reaching 50, 200 and 1000 published reviews, and the weight of their ranking votes increases with demonstrated contribution, up to three standard votes. Weights and titles are assigned automatically, cannot be transferred and cannot be acquired for compensation. Star reviews additionally influence ranking positions within a capped limit defined by the ranking methodology.

Users may publish one review per company or product, consisting of a star rating from 1 to 5 and an optional text. Reviews must be based on the author's own experience and comply with the requirements of the Community Guidelines. Reviews may be edited or deleted by their authors; verified company owners may publish official responses.

The Platform may remove reviews, comments and votes that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, and may exclude content from score calculations at its discretion.

You retain responsibility for the content you publish. By submitting a review, rating or comment, you grant Prooffeed a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, translate and distribute this content within the Platform and in materials presenting the Platform, including ranking widgets embedded on third-party websites.

Published content may be retained after account deletion where necessary for the integrity of rankings and discussions; upon request, such content is anonymized instead of deleted.

The editorial team determines which rankings and positions are published and may create, modify, merge or remove rankings at any time. Companies are included in rankings free of charge on the basis of editorial selection and community activity.

Moderation decisions, including removal of content and annulment of manipulated votes, are made in accordance with the Community Guidelines. The Platform applies anti-fraud systems to protect the integrity of voting.

At the end of each calendar year, the current top 10 of every ranking is recorded as a permanent annual archive. Companies in the first three places receive winner awards that remain displayed indefinitely. Archived results are historical records: they are closed to further voting and are not modified retroactively.

Companies featured on the Platform may claim their cards free of charge through technical verification: a file placed on the company website, a DNS record or a meta tag. Verified owners may update card information, publish official responses to reviews and receive notifications of new reviews.

Verification confirms control over the company's website and does not grant any influence over ranking positions, votes or reviews.

Advertising placements on the Platform are visually labeled and exist outside the ranking mechanics; they do not affect positions or scores. Outbound links to third-party websites are published with nofollow and sponsored attributes.

The Platform is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites reached through links published on Prooffeed.

When using the Platform, you must not: violate applicable law; manipulate votes, reviews or view counts by any means, including multiple accounts, coordinated activity and automation; scrape or mass-copy Platform content without written permission; attempt unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts; distribute malware or interfere with the operation of the service; use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited advertising.

All elements of the Platform, including its design, software, databases, texts and the structure of rankings, are the property of Prooffeed or its licensors, with the exception of user content. Third-party names, logos and trademarks mentioned in rankings belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.

Rankings, reviews, ratings and comments represent the opinions of the community and the editorial team. They are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and do not constitute professional, financial, medical or legal advice. The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prooffeed shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, including decisions made on the basis of rankings or reviews.

The Platform may amend these Terms as the service develops. The current version, together with the date of the last revision, is permanently available on this page. Continued use of the Platform after publication of amendments constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
