These Guidelines complement the Terms of Use and describe what makes a good contribution on Prooffeed and how disputes are handled. Rankings are only useful while votes and reviews stay honest — that is what these rules protect.
If you are an owner, employee or affiliate of a service listed in a ranking, you may reply to reviews about it in comments identifying yourself, but you must not rate your own service, vote for it, or downvote competitors. Undisclosed conflict of interest leads to removal of content and may lead to account termination.
One person — one account — one vote per position. Coordinated voting, exchanging votes, buying votes or reviews, and using automation are prohibited. We monitor anomalies and revoke votes that are found to be manipulated, without notice.
If you believe a review is fake, defamatory or violates these rules — or if your company disagrees with information in a ranking — write to [email protected] with links and evidence. We review reports manually and reply within a reasonable time. Editorial decisions on rankings remain at our discretion.
If content on Prooffeed infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to [email protected] with identification of the work, the exact URL and your contact details. Infringing content will be removed after verification.
Depending on severity we may: remove content, revoke votes, hide reviews from ratings calculation, restrict or terminate accounts. Repeated or deliberate manipulation always results in termination.
