This Privacy Policy describes how the Prooffeed platform (the "Platform", "we") collects, uses, stores and protects data of its users and visitors. The Policy applies to all 16 language versions of the Platform and forms an integral part of the Terms of Use.
The guiding principle of the Platform is data minimization: we collect only the information required for the operation of rankings, reviews and accounts, and nothing beyond that.
Account data: email address, password stored exclusively as a cryptographic hash, and an optional display name. Activity data: votes, reviews, ratings, comments and the dates of these actions. Technical data: IP address, browser information and interface language.
We do not request or store payment details, identity documents, precise location or any special categories of personal data.
The collected data serves the following purposes: authentication and account management; display of the author name next to published reviews and comments; counting votes and calculating ranking positions; protection against fraud, vote manipulation and spam, including analysis of anomalous activity; aggregated anonymous statistics of Platform usage.
We do not sell personal data, do not share it for third-party marketing and do not send marketing mailings.
The Platform uses cookies for the following purposes: session authentication (account identifier and session token); remembering the interface language; temporary storage of review drafts written before signing in; an anonymous interest profile based on viewed categories, used to select advertising blocks shown on the Platform.
Cookies are not used to track users across third-party websites. Browsing rankings without an account requires no cookies except technical ones.
The Platform relies on a limited set of external services that may process technical data under their own privacy policies: Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag for anonymous traffic analytics; Yandex Metrica for anonymous traffic analytics; Cloudflare, including the Turnstile mechanism, for content delivery and bot protection.
These services receive technical data only and have no access to account credentials.
Personal data is not sold and is not transferred to third parties for their own purposes. Data may be disclosed only in the following cases: to infrastructure providers strictly to the extent required for hosting and operating the service; where disclosure is required by applicable law or a binding request of a competent authority; in the event of a corporate reorganization, under continuity of the obligations of this Policy.
Account data is stored for as long as the account exists. Published reviews, ratings and comments may be retained after account deletion where necessary for the integrity of rankings and discussions; upon request, such content is anonymized: the connection between the content and the identity of its author is removed irreversibly.
Technical logs used for fraud protection are stored for a limited period and are then deleted or anonymized.
You may at any time: request a copy of the data associated with your account; request correction of inaccurate data; delete your reviews and comments yourself using the Platform interface; request deletion of the account and associated data.
Requests are accepted at [email protected] from the email address registered to the account and are processed within 30 days.
The Platform applies recognized industry practices: passwords are stored exclusively as cryptographic hashes; all connections are encrypted using HTTPS; administrative access is protected by two-factor authentication; database access is restricted and logged.
No method of data transmission is entirely free of risk; the Platform continuously improves its protective measures and responds to identified threats.
The Platform is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data of such users; upon discovery, the relevant account and its data are deleted.
The Platform may update this Policy as the service and legal requirements evolve. The current version, together with the date of the last revision, is permanently available on this page. Material changes are reflected by updating the revision date.
