A plain open pan that solves the two usual complaints about cheap boxes: low walls and no scoop. Outside dimensions are 19 by 15 by 11.75 inches with an 11 inch inner depth, and a removable shield clips on top of the rim to stop urine spray and flying litter. The plastic is BPA free, polished inside so waste does not stick, and the box is made in the USA from recycled material. A matching scoop is in the box.

The obvious choice when several boxes are needed at once, or as a backup pan while a cat gets used to something automatic. Open design means odour is not contained, so it wants a scoop every day. Cats longer than about 18 inches will find it snug and should get the XX Large version instead, and the shield can pop loose if a cat leans hard on it.
