This is the cheap entry ticket into hive work. One layer of light cotton and polyester blend, a self supporting hooded veil sewn to the collar, elastic at the wrists and ankles. There are chest pockets for the hive tool and a full length zipper down the front. Sizes go from small up to 3XL, and the price stays under most rivals on the same shelf.

Good for a first season, for a helper who visits the apiary twice a summer, or as a spare suit kept in the truck. Bad choice for July inspections in a hot state, because a single cotton layer holds heat and bees reach skin wherever the cloth presses flat. Wash it cold, hang it to dry, and watch the zipper teeth: that is the part owners replace first.
