A compact two level coop from the Natura range: the enclosed sleeping and nesting compartment sits on the upper floor, with the wire run underneath and a ramp connecting the two. The frame is glazed pine with a hinged, weather sealed roof, and a metal pull out tray under the house makes daily cleaning a short job. Doors on both levels give access without crawling into the run.
Sized for two to four bantams or small breeds, it works on a patio, terrace or small garden where a full walk in coop will not fit. Large heavy breeds will find the sleeping compartment tight. The softwood needs re oiling every year or two, and in areas with foxes or raccoons the stock latches deserve an upgrade.
