Three separate scenarios in one box: The House on the Hill, The Nautilus' Traps and Expedition Challenger. Each one runs about an hour for one to six players, age 10 and up. A free phone app handles the countdown, the hints and the code checks, so nobody has to keep score on paper. The three stories differ in mood and in difficulty, from a light haunted house to a jungle trek.
The big plus is that cards stay whole. Nothing gets cut or written on, so the box can be lent to the next group and then to the group after that. That makes the price per hour very reasonable. The app is a must, and it needs a charged phone and volume up, which annoys some players. Puzzles rely on combining card numbers, and that trick takes a round or two to click.
