Acts of Adventure is a two person crew from Colorado Springs: Connor and Alix, married since 2013 and travelling the country in a campervan they built themselves. Alix started filming at ten with a camcorder, and the studio's method still shows that habit of watching rather than directing: documentary footage, almost no posing, story and clean sound before pretty frames. Vows and toasts are kept whole, not trimmed into a two minute montage.
Besides Colorado the pair shoot in Jackson Hole, Moab, Sedona, Bozeman, Crested Butte and Santa Fe, so a full day hike or a three day mountain celebration is normal work for them. Rates are not published: the pricing guide comes only after an enquiry form, which makes quick comparison awkward. Couples after a glossy, heavily posed edit, or a short courthouse ceremony on a small budget, should look elsewhere.
