A small Oregon farm near Sweet Home that came out of the Seed Ambassadors Project, a series of seed collecting trips through Europe. That history shows in the list: European kales, grains, dry beans, peppers and greens that are hard to find in North America, all open-pollinated and much of it grown and trialled on their own certified organic ground in the Willamette Valley. The print catalog has been retired, everything now runs through the website.
Suits gardeners in cool maritime climates and anyone who wants seed with actual trial notes behind it, including growers building their own seed stock. Not for someone who wants to phone in an order: the farm states plainly that it does not manage phone calls and works by email. Being a two person operation, stock on the rarest lines is thin and sells out early in the season.
