Set up in 1985, which makes it one of the first veterinary practices in the United States built entirely around exotic and non traditional species. Full medical and surgical care is offered for exotic pets, and the clinic has long been a teaching and referral point for vets in the Midwest who meet a ferret or a sugar glider once a year and would rather not improvise.
Worth the trip for Indiana and neighbouring state owners with a complicated case: rabbit dentistry, avian surgery, reptile metabolic problems. Less suited to anyone looking for a one stop practice that also vaccinates the family labrador, because dogs and cats are not the business here. As with most referral level exotics clinics, expect to book ahead and to bring previous radiographs and blood work.
