Brooklyn Brew Shop built its name on one gallon all grain kits made for a kitchen stove. A kit holds a glass fermentation jug, tubing, sanitizer, thermometer, airlock and a milled grain and hop mix, with instructions written in plain steps and email support at any stage. Refill mixes cost less than the full kit, so the same jug keeps working for the next batch.
The easiest way to find out whether brewing is interesting at all, without buying buckets and a big kettle. One gallon gives roughly eight to ten bottles, which disappears quickly. Anyone who decides to brew five gallons will need to start the equipment purchase again from zero.
