Founded in 2011 in Oklahoma City by law enforcement and prosecution veterans, CCW Safe is a legal service plan rather than an insurance product, which is why it advertises no cap on criminal or civil defense spending. Plans are tiered by situation instead of by coverage amount: Protector, Defender, constitutional carry, home defense, church security and separate law enforcement options. Bail funding runs from $500,000 to $1 million depending on tier. In July 2025 the company acquired the Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Network and brought its members under the same critical response team.
Suited to carriers who care most about uncapped trial spending and want experienced case managers on the phone at 3 a.m. Less attractive if the budget is tight or if a rich training library is the point, and the entry plan assumes a valid carry permit.
