Elite Left was founded in 2021 in Christchurch by Alyson Harris, who got tired of ordering left-handed goods from the other side of the world, and it remains New Zealand's only shop dedicated to lefties. The catalogue runs from cook's knives and can openers to tape measures, garden tools, scissors, quick drying pens, computer accessories and school stationery. Prices are in New Zealand dollars with GST included, payment goes through Visa, Mastercard or Afterpay, and overseas orders are shipped too.
Handy for New Zealand buyers who used to pay overseas freight on every peeler, and for Australians, since the store runs a local currency version. The selection is narrower than at the British and American veterans, so rare items still need importing.
