The Portland school moved its long running classroom wedding workshop online and kept the price at 250 dollars, which makes it one of the cheapest structured wedding courses in the country. The syllabus is deliberately complete for a single event: sourcing fresh flowers, care and handling, hydration and conditioning, knife technique, then a contemporary hand tied bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, a floral crown, a fresh garland and reception pieces. Finish it and the institute issues a workshop certificate.
Good fit for someone doing a friend's wedding or testing whether the profession is worth pursuing, and equally useful as a refresher on care and handling, a chapter most self taught designers skip. It is a workshop certificate, not accreditation, and it says almost nothing about pricing, contracts or client meetings. Flowers and tools are your own expense.
