Grizzly SMS began as a Singapore startup project for one-time number rental and now lists an office address on Great Portland Street in London. It pitches itself to social media managers. You can take a number for minutes or hours, just long enough to get a code, or rent one for longer. Rented numbers and incoming messages are managed from one workspace, and there is an Android app for the same tasks.
It fits marketers who juggle many social media profiles. Be careful with expensive orders. The Trustpilot score is low, around 2.2 to 2.4 from about twenty reviews. One recurring complaint is a US WhatsApp number that didn't work and wasn't refunded. With so few reviews, it is hard to judge how stable the service is, so test a cheap order on the platform you need before topping up a large balance.
