The Czech plant in Loděnice pressed its first records on 2 May 1951 and today describes itself as the world's largest vinyl producer, with output counted in tens of millions of LPs a year. Everything sits under one roof: cutting, galvanics, pressing, printing, packaging and shipping, plus CD and DVD lines. The group also runs satellite operations, among them Precision Record Pressing in Canada and SNA GZ in France, plus a stake in Memphis Record Pressing.
Big catalogue reissues and chart releases are the natural fit, because scheduling thousands of copies with printed packaging in the same building removes a whole layer of logistics. Independent artists usually reach GZ through brokers or regional sales offices rather than directly. Collector feedback splits: carefully supervised projects come out quiet, rushed high volume orders are where surface noise complaints appear.
