Nashville poster shop working since 1879, one of the oldest letterpress houses still printing every day. It sits in the Rep. John Lewis Way lobby of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and it keeps printing show posters for musicians on the same wood and metal type used by earlier generations. The shop, the Haley Gallery and the press floor are open daily from 9:00 to 17:00. Tours run for groups, and visitors can pull their own print, tote bag, t-shirt or tea towel.
Good choice for a poster with real history behind it, for band merchandise, for a gift with a Nashville accent. Less suited to fine wedding stationery or to a designer who wants full control of every millimetre: the house style is strong and the type cases set the rules. Custom orders go through [email protected], wholesale has its own address.
