House of Scuba works out of a store on Santa Fe Street in San Diego, minutes from Pacific Beach and La Jolla, and has been trading for about two decades. Three sports share the floor: scuba, snorkeling and freediving, with regulators, wetsuits, computers and spearfishing kit, plus a service bench, rentals, PADI instruction and a government sales desk. The shop is open seven days a week, which is rarer among dive stores than it sounds, and runs an annual local beach cleanup.
Convenient for divers based in or visiting San Diego who want gear fitted before a La Jolla Shores dive, and the online store ships nationally. Deep technical configurations are not the focus, and with a single location there is no second branch to check for stock. Weekend afternoons can get crowded with class groups.
