A nonprofit founded in 2008 by Salman Khan, and since 2015 the College Board's official practice partner, which is why its SAT course is free from start to finish with nothing to upgrade. Practice mirrors the current adaptive format: two modules per section, questions supplied by the College Board, full-length tests that hand students over to the Bluebook app. A short diagnostic builds a study plan and progress is tracked skill by skill.
Suits self-directed students, anyone whose budget rules out paid prep, and tutored students who need extra drilling between sessions. Less suitable for a teenager who works only to deadlines, since there are no classes, no schedule and nobody to email when motivation fails. Math explanations are stronger than the reading and writing side, where the video library is thinner.
