Level took the opposite path to everyone else: the motor, radio and battery live inside the deadbolt bore, so from the hallway the door looks completely ordinary. The visible parts are conventional thumb turn and cylinder, the keys keep working, and there is no plastic box on the inside face. Level Lock+ adds Apple Home Key, letting an iPhone or Watch unlock by touch, and the whole assembly runs on a single CR2 cell that typically lasts about a year.
The obvious choice for anyone who refuses to spoil a nice door, and for households already inside Apple Home, which supplies the hub for remote access. Bluetooth is the native radio, so away-from-home control depends on that hub or on Level's own connect accessory. There is no keypad on the door unless you buy the touch accessory.
