The Long Beach Coin, Currency, Stamp & Sports Collectibles Expo has been a Southern California fixture since 1964. After a thin 2025, when the June and September shows were paused, Stack's Bowers Galleries acquired the event, and its first expo under new ownership in February 2026 drew a full bourse and strong public attendance. Two shows a year are now planned: September 9 to 11, 2026, and March 10 to 12, 2027, all at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.
PCGS serves as the official grading service, runs on-site submissions and lets its Collectors Club members in free; the U.S. Mint has also had a booth selling recent releases. Wednesday is reserved for dealers and VIP ticket holders, so the general public starts on Thursday. The mix of stamps and sports cards widens the audience, although purists after only coins will pass a fair share of tables that are not theirs.
