Memphis Record Pressing
Founded in 2014 by the people behind Audiographic Masterworks and Fat Possum Records, MRP grew from a handful of second hand machines into one of North America's biggest LP plants. A partnership with GZ Media, signed in 2016, brought European tooling and know how, and the later expansion at the Bartlett site multiplied the press count and added automated lines.
Speed is what clients talk about most: MRP built its reputation on turnaround rather than boutique fussiness, which suits labels with release dates already announced. Colour work, splatter and standard weights are routine. Audiophile purists chasing hand inspected 200 gram pressings will be happier elsewhere, and the order flow is geared to established labels and distributors rather than one off personal projects.
