The build is the selling point: 16 gauge welded steel frames with powder coating, stainless steel ball bearing rollers, rubber coated rollers instead of plastic bushings, and fan cooled, thermally protected motors meant to run around the clock. Bases come in 14 inch and 21 inch sizes, with capacities from 3 lb up to 30 lb, and every machine carries a two year warranty.
Good fit for someone tumbling in volume or running several grit stages at once, and for sea glass, brass and metal work. Less sensible as a first gift tumbler: the machines are heavy, the price sits well above starter kits, and extra barrels are bought separately. Grit kits include 60/90, 120/220 and 400/600 silicon carbide plus 12,000 aluminum oxide polish.
