Modkat Flip
Modkat has been making design led boxes from Brooklyn since 2009, and the Flip is its front entry model with a hinged lid that opens for cleaning and scooping. Instead of a plastic base you get a reusable tarpaulin style liner that hangs inside the frame and gets replaced roughly every three months, which keeps the shell clean and cuts scratching noise. A scoop clips to the side, and the walls plus lid stop most of the spray from an enthusiastic digger.
Fair choice for a flat where the box lives in view and a beige hood would ruin the room, or for cats that dislike top entry. Anyone expecting robot money to buy robot function should skip it: this is a manual box at roughly a hundred dollars, and liners are a repeat purchase.
