Diepholz has been making records since 1948, and Pallas is the name audiophile labels reach for when a reissue has to survive close listening. Galvanics, pressing and printing are kept in house, presses are watched by operators rather than left to run, and the plant works mostly with virgin compound in 140 and 180 gram weights. Runout matrix numbers from Pallas are a collector shorthand for a well pressed German copy.

Jazz and classical reissue series, half speed masters and high end audiophile editions form the core of the order book. That care has a price: quotes sit above the market average and lead times are long, because the plant does not chase volume. Labels that need cheap fast turnaround for a limited tour release should look at bigger factories instead.
