PetFusion approached the open box as an engineering problem: one moulded piece with no seams to trap urine, tall walls, a lowered front entry and a non stick interior coating so clumps release instead of cementing to the corners. It is large, priced above supermarket trays and below designer boxes, and comes with a manufacturer warranty, which is rare for a plain plastic pan.
Makes sense for a big cat that overshoots low sided trays, and for owners who hate chiselling dried litter off the bottom every week. There is no hood and no door, so it does nothing for odour, and the size demands real floor space, awkward in a small bathroom.
