Rösle has been making metal goods in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria since 1888 and switched to kitchen tools decades ago; the company runs on about 150 employees and is known for the Open Kitchen hanging system. Nearly everything is 18/10 stainless steel with sealed handles and a hanging ring. For lefties the key item is the Swivel Peeler left-handed, listed on the US site at the same 27 dollars as the right-handed twin, with a replaceable swivel blade and a double sharpened tip for potato eyes.
The catch is scope: this is one properly mirrored tool in a large catalog, not a left-handed line. Buy it if the plan is a peeler that outlives a dozen plastic ones and can be re-bladed instead of binned. Anyone after left-handed knives or shears has to look elsewhere, and 27 dollars for a peeler is a hard sell if the budget is tight.
