An 11.8 inch colour e-paper slate built for one job: reading and writing without anything else on screen. Launched in 2024 at 579 dollars with the standard Marker, 629 with the Marker Plus and its eraser end, plus folios from roughly 89 dollars. The writing feel is the selling point, matte surface, almost no lag, and a front light that the earlier reMarkable 2 lacked.
There is no browser worth using, no video, no app store, no question bank client. That is deliberate, and for someone who keeps drifting to social media during revision it can be the difference between three focused hours and none. Cloud sync beyond a basic window needs a paid Connect subscription, which annoys owners who already spent flagship money. Buy it as a second device, not as the only one.
