Coverage is strongest in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal and the United Kingdom, and rentals are booked and paid through the site with the landlord confirming the dates.
That level of checking costs money: the tenant pays a service fee once a booking is accepted, and it is not small in expensive cities. Stays are aimed at a month and longer, so short July trips rarely fit. Videos can date from an earlier season, and furniture or flatmates may have changed, which is worth asking about before the contract is signed.
