Sygic Travel
Sygic Travel comes from the Slovak navigation company Sygic and grew out of Tripomatic. It builds a timeline for each day from a large catalogue of attractions with descriptions, opening hours and typical visit duration, then draws the route between them on a map with walking, driving and transit estimates. Offline maps and offline place data are its calling card, which matters in cities where roaming is expensive.
City sightseeing is where it shines: pick a destination, drop landmarks into days, reorder them and let the app warn about impossible distances. Group collaboration and expense tracking are limited compared with newer planners, and the mobile app has seen fewer updates than the navigation product. Travellers who want everything from car rental to restaurant bills in one file will need a second tool.
