Tenmars is a Taiwanese instrument maker, and the TM-192D is its three axis gauss meter with the sensor in a separate probe on a cable. That cable is the point: the probe can be laid in a doorway or held near a wall while the display and the person stay a yard away, so the body does not disturb the field and the operator does not have to crouch in the dark. The meter covers the low frequency band around mains wiring and shows readings in milligauss or microtesla, with data hold and maximum hold.
Three axis measurement means the number does not change every time the hand turns, which is the usual complaint about cheap single axis detectors. It is a working instrument, so there is no LED show and no beeping for the camera. Stock in Europe and North America comes through distributors, and support is at arm's length compared with a small local maker.
