Tree of Life is Jennifer and Tom, a married photo and film pair now based in Las Vegas after years of covering the Philadelphia and New York area. Desert elopements are their home ground, Joshua Tree in particular, and they travel further afield for destination bookings. Stills and film come from the same two people, so the ceremony stays quiet instead of turning into a shoot with six strangers standing about.
Two shooters means one lens on faces and one on the wider scene without hiring anybody else. The flip side is obvious: two people can only take so many dates, and popular desert months fill first. Midday desert light and heat also push ceremonies to the edges of the day, which needs agreeing early. Reviews on the wedding directories are consistently strong.
