Tripsy is an independent planner for Apple devices only: iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with iCloud sync and no web version. Trips are organised as cards for flights, stays, activities and reservations, with attached documents, offline access, flight tracking, weather forecasts and widgets on the home screen. The subscription runs about five dollars a month or forty dollars a year, and the app is free to try.
The appeal is craftsmanship: fast, quiet, native, without ads or booking pressure. Sharing works, though collaborators also need Apple hardware, which rules out mixed groups. There is no automated place database suggesting what to visit, so research happens in the browser and moves into Tripsy as a plan. Android users are simply out of luck.
