For question banks, recorded lectures and PDF markup it needs no excuses: GoodNotes, Notability, Anki clients and the big courseware apps all run natively, and updates keep coming for years. Heavy note-takers will feel the non-laminated glass, which sits a fraction above the pixels and makes the stylus tip look slightly detached. Typing long essays means buying a keyboard case separately.
