Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke

Brand: Brunner Elektronik

0

Brunner is a Swiss electronics company whose simulation gear ends up in professional training devices, and the CLS-E NG is its entry level force feedback yoke. Electric motors load the controls, so aerodynamic forces, stall buffet and trim can be felt through the handle instead of a spring. The handle shape follows a Beechcraft pattern, CLS2Sim software tunes force curves per aircraft, and two units can be linked for pilot and copilot with automatic takeover.

Made for people who care about control feel more than button count: training organisations, hardcore home builders. It costs over a thousand euros, needs firm mounting because the motors push back, and CLS2Sim setup takes an evening of reading. Windows only, and no throttle levers are included.

Pros

  • True electric force feedback on both axes
  • Force curves adjustable in CLS2Sim
  • Pilot and copilot units can be linked
  • Metal build meant for daily training use
  • Works with MSFS, X-Plane and Prepar3D

Cons

  • Over a thousand euros
  • Requires rigid mounting to a frame
  • Software setup takes real time to learn
  • No throttle levers included
