A glovebox kit. The UBE88 holds two 8 by 8 inch Quick Roof Extreme patches, two alcohol cleaning wipes and a plastic applicator, and costs about as much as a tank of propane. The patches use Steel Loc butyl adhesive under a white TPO face: no primer, installs down to roughly 20 F, and the maker states the bond holds from minus 70 F to 200 F without cracking, hardening or shrinking.
Covered materials include EPDM, TPO, metal, fiberglass, vinyl and aged rigid PVC, so the same patch closes a roof puncture, a vent flange or a cracked holding tank. Two patches is the entire box, so treat it as a road repair rather than a seam job. On tan roofs the white face shows, and the surface has to be truly clean and dry or the edge lifts.
