This is the story heavy end of the genre. A father tries to wake his daughter from a coma, and the group reads long passages, spends action tokens to explore rooms and enters answers on a web platform. One to four players, age 16 and up, three chapters that add up to roughly ten hours of play. Price sits near 40 dollars, which is fair for that length.
Action tokens are the twist: there are never enough to search everything, so the group must choose what to look at and lives with the gaps. Decisions change the ending, and the mood is dark, with adult themes that do not suit family night. Puzzles are fewer and softer than in EXIT or Unlock, so pure riddle fans may lose patience with the reading. Best played by one or two people over several evenings, since large groups end up listening rather than acting.
