A 50W CO2 machine with a 510 by 300 mm bed that OMTech built as a plug in desktop unit: water tank, pump and exhaust fan live inside the case, so there is no separate chiller sitting on the floor. It runs LightBurn, which matters for a business, because the same software controls most other lasers on the market and no proprietary cloud sits in the way.
Good fit for engraving shops doing wood signage, slate, leather patches and acrylic up to roughly 8 mm. The trade off is the usual CO2 housekeeping: mirror alignment, lens cleaning, water changes and a duct out of the window. There is no built in camera, so positioning relies on the red dot pointer and jigs, which is fine for repeat work off templates and slower for one off pieces.
