Waist length version of the OZ Armour mesh suit. Same three layer fabric, same pair of hoods in the box, fencing and round brim, both zipped to the collar. The hem tightens with a drawcord, cuffs are elastic with thumb loops, and there are chest and side pockets. It goes on over jeans in half a minute, which is the whole point of a jacket.
Works for quick checks, swarm calls and short honey pulls when a full suit feels like too much. Legs stay unprotected, so heavy boots and thick trousers are still needed, and kneeling next to a hive entrance is riskier than in a full suit. Cheaper than the suit and takes half the space in a car boot.
