Liquid Roof is liquid EPDM, a two part chemically cured rubber rather than an acrylic paint. The one gallon repair kit includes the catalyst, a mixer shaft, a brush and reinforcing fabric for cracks and open seams. One coat is the intended application, roughly 42 square feet per gallon at 20 mil, and the maker guarantees five years. It holds up under ponding water and is not harmed by freezing before or after cure.
Practical notes. Once the catalyst goes in, pot life is limited, so mix only what can be spread in one go. The smell is solvent grade, so gloves and open air, not a covered storage lot. Shipping is restricted with some carriers. Sensible for seam and patch work on an older rubber roof, or as the start of a slow section by section repair.
