Discovery is Samick's step out of glued wood into a machined aluminum ILF riser, so the limbs come off with a wrench and any ILF limb on the market will bolt on. The bow works out at 64 inches with the supplied wood core carbon limbs, and draw weights are offered from 25 to 55 pounds. The box holds both limbs, a riser bag, two wrenches and a B55 Dacron string, which is enough to shoot the same day.

The point of an ILF bow is tuning: tiller and limb bolt tension adjust, and the archer can move to stiffer or faster limbs without touching the riser. That matters for target shooters and for hunters who want one riser for years. Downsides are plain. Amazon listings are right hand only, the aluminum riser adds noticeable mass compared with a wooden Sage, and the Dacron string that comes in the box is worth replacing before serious practice.
