There are four built-in stitch options, including a narrow rolled hem set by a lever, plus differential feed and a free arm. Colored threading diagrams sit under the front cover, and the accessory box holds tweezers, needles and spool caps.

Fine for hemming knits, finishing seam allowances on cotton and quick household repairs. Beginners get a low price and a body light enough, close to 15 pounds, to lift onto the table alone. The trade off shows in the plastic housing, which rattles at top speed, and in tension dials that want fiddling after every fabric change. Long production runs and thick layers are not its job.
