The set includes wool roving, a felting needle, a foam pad and drawn instructions that split the work into head, body, ears and paws. Small parts like muzzles and tails are felted separately and then joined, so the method teaches assembly, not just poking.

Better as a second project than as a first one. The muzzle and ears are fiddly and a shaky hand shows in the face. Practising on the body first is wise. The finished puppies sit rather than stand, and they will not survive being used as a child toy. Wool amounts are exact, so mistakes cost material.
