A 55W sealed CO2 tube in a desktop enclosure with a 600 by 308 mm bed, which puts it between hobby diode boxes and floor standing machines. Two 16 MP cameras handle placement and material recognition, so a job can be dropped onto a scrap offcut without measuring twice. Autofocus, curved surface engraving and an optional conveyor feeder for stock up to about three metres long cover repeat production runs of signs, acrylic awards and leather goods.
Suited to a shop that already sells and needs cutting depth in one pass: thick acrylic, plywood, leather, painted metal marking. Less suited to a spare bedroom, since a CO2 tube needs venting or a separate filter, plus clearance behind the machine. Tube life is finite and replacement is a planned expense, not a warranty case.
