Apollo Tools is a small American family company, veteran-owned and run by women, that has been assembling household tool kits for over 20 years. The catalogue is narrow on purpose: general sets such as the 39-piece DT9706, roadside and automotive kits, cordless screwdrivers, and the pink line that made the brand known. A share of every pink sale goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a partnership running since 2009 with more than 1.3 million dollars donated.
The kits are aimed at apartments, first homes, dorm rooms and gift lists: chrome-plated basics in a moulded case where every socket has its own slot, so nothing rattles loose in a drawer. Target, Walmart and Amazon carry them alongside the company site. Trades will find the pliers and hex keys too light for daily earning work, and there is no battery platform to grow into.
