A small California maker that builds its blocks by hand and sells almost entirely through Amazon and its own shop. The range is oyster only: pink, white, brown and blue, sold as single kits around thirty dollars or as a three pack variety bundle. Harvest comes in ten to fourteen days from opening, and the box arrives with a spray bottle and a card of instructions, so nothing extra is needed.
Good value for colour: a trio bundle gives three different oysters at once, which looks better on a plate and on camera than a single grey cluster. The gift packaging is the main selling point. Downsides are the narrow range, no shiitake or lion's mane, and support that runs through email and marketplace messages rather than a phone line. Yields on later flushes drop off quickly.
