Heng's Industries has supplied RV and marine parts from Elkhart, Indiana since 2007, selling mainly through OEMs, dealers and distributors in the US and Canada. Ventilation is the core business: Zephyr roof vents that drop into standard 14 by 14 inch openings with a 5 inch garnish, Vortex I single speed and Vortex II three speed fans on a 9 inch blade, plus lids, covers and replacement kits. Around that sit range hoods, fibered roof coatings in white and aluminum, self leveling lap sealant, butyl and roof seal tapes, and marine items such as power lift gear. In 2023 the company packaged complete TPO roof kits with RPI Direct.
Price is the main argument. A complete Heng's vent or a gallon of coating usually costs less than the premium equivalent, and the one piece self centering metal base with a wider flange covers old screw holes, which saves work on a retrofit. The weak points are plastic lids that age under strong sun, thin documentation compared with larger suppliers, and the absence of direct sales: part numbers have to be cross referenced at whatever retailer stocks the item.
