October Mountain Products
October Mountain Products, or OMP, is the house archery brand of Kinsey's, a family run outdoor wholesaler in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, that has supplied dealers since the middle of the last century. The catalog splits into three lines: Mainline accessories, Tradition for traditional shooters, Pro Tools for shop benches. Traditional bows are the best known part, among them the three piece takedown Mountaineer 2.0 with laminated oak, walnut and hard maple riser, and the dymondwood and bamboo Dusk. Around them sit bow cases, hip quivers, armguards, arrow spinners and bow vises, the Versa Cradle running past four hundred dollars.
The brand fits shooters getting into recurve and longbow archery, coaches equipping a group, and pro shops needing serviceable tooling. It is not a boutique bowyer: finish on wooden limbs varies between units, and there are no compound bows here.
