Revolut Business grew out of the consumer app and now covers freelancers through both a company account and a dedicated offer for sole traders. Plans start with a free tier and scale up, each adding a monthly allowance of free local transfers and interest free currency exchange before percentage fees apply. The account holds dozens of currencies, issues virtual and physical cards with spending limits, automates expense claims and approval chains, and connects to Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe and Slack.
Strong for European freelancers with clients in several countries who need currency exchange without visiting a bank. The free plan is genuinely usable but thin on free transfers, and weekend exchange carries a surcharge. Account verification and occasional compliance freezes are the most common complaints, and phone support is limited, with most questions handled through in app chat.
